This placement was cut short due to the school closure during the covid- 19 outbreak. However in this short period of time I believe I have received a great amount of experience in this difficult time.
LCA - Module 2, My Journey
Aim:
To create a 3D construction of a shoe based on their own personal journey focusing on the art elements and design principles shape, form and texture.
Learning outcomes for unit of learning
At the end of this unit of learning, students should be able to
- based on group and individual learning methodologies, collect and organise resources and information
- use a variety of artistic approaches
- identify and experiment with artistic visual qualities and with a range of materials and tools
- produce art works of a personally expressive and aesthetic nature
- recognise some of the ways in which artists have responded to, and promoted environmental issues
- begin to have a more participatory role in environmental care.
Practical - Clay Vessels
Aim:
To create a successful clay vessel of an animal and pre- columbian ceramic hybrid focusing on the art elements and design principles shape, form , and texture
Learning outcomes for unit of learning
At the end of the unit of learning students should be able to:
1.1 analyse their work, or that of another, using appropriate vocabulary and knowledge
1.3 critique an artwork using critical and visual language
1.6 use drawings to communicate their personal outlook or understanding
3.6 design a final work based on their drawings
2.5 develop their ideas for craftwork through drawing 1.12 apply their understanding of the art elements and design principles to make an artwork 1.14 use media to create their own artwork 1.15 critique the choice of media in their own or others’ artwork
